What is an eSim?

An eSim is a digital SIM built into the phone. There is no plastic card to insert. You install a profile from a QR code or from the install page, then the phone connects to a local network for data.

Your usual number can stay on at the same time on a dual-SIM phone. The travel line is for data. Calls and SMS on your usual number still use that line.

Most recent iPhones and many Android phones support eSim. Check the Devices page, or dial *#06# and look for an EID.
